Joao
Da Silva"Dacor"
began studying Capoeira at the age of 14 years old with
Master Tucas and Master Umoi from Grupo Uniao Na Capoeira.
At the age of 19 years old he moved to London to study
Law, but instead undertook a B>A in sports science
in order to incorporate contemporary scientific approaches
into his training of the ancient.
Whilst in the UK and travelling to Brazil, Africa and
Europe from his contemporary knowledge and ancient practise
has emerged a philosophy as either Capoeira should no
longer be taught according to traditional notions either
Capoeira Angola or Capoeira Regional, but capoeiristas
should be able to play equally to whichever rhythm the
berimbau calls.
His coordinator is Master Tucas from Grupo Uniao Na Capoeira.
